Marion Müller holds a Bachelor degree in Islamic Sciences from the Bamberg University and specialised in Iranian Studies as part of her studies. Currently she is doing a Master degree in Migration and Diversity at Kiel University. Since 2020 she is an advisor on the topic of child endagernment and Islamist extremism. As part of her work, she is specialised in the topic of Islamist or Salafist-influenced upbringing and the socialization conditions of children and adolescents in affected families. Furthermore, another focus of her work is to promote resilience of affected children in order to strengthen their protective factors. She has training in systemic counselling and in accompanying and working with children who have experience traumatising situations.
